Green Stormwater Infrastructure: The City of Phoenix Journey

Over the past decade and with assistance from many public, private, and non-profit partners, staff at the City of Phoenix have been working towards expanding the implementation of Green Stormwater Infrastructure (GSI) to further multiple City goals and priorities.

In this presentation, Tricia Balluff with the City of Phoenix Office of Environmental Programs will trace Phoenix’s path towards embracing Green Stormwater Infrastructure, including highlights from studies and collaborations, connectivity to City goals, standards and permitting processes, publicly available resources, roadblocks and unanswered questions, and what’s next for Phoenix on this journey.
