Nominations are open for the Arizona Floodplain Management Association (AFMA) 2026 Awards.
Current AFMA members may nominate a colleague, organization, team, program, project, or themselves, subject to the eligibility requirements for each award.
Award Categories:
AFMA Outreach/Media Award
AFMA Local Floodplain Manager of the Year Award
AFMA Outstanding Program/Project Award
Before submitting a nomination, please review the award descriptions and eligibility requirements below. Nominations should include specific examples of the nominee’s accomplishments, their impact on floodplain management or public safety, and any measurable results.
Supporting documents, photographs, and links may also be submitted. Please obtain permission before providing copyrighted, confidential, or personally sensitive materials.
Award recipients will be recognized during the AFMA Business Meeting at the 2026 Conference on Thursday, October 29, 2026.
The deadline for nominations is Friday, September 25th, 2026.
