AFMA Library

AFMA maintains a library of numerous documents and photos related to Arizona floodplain management at Gateway Community College. Your membership helps support the cataloging and maintenance of our library section.

Education

AFMA sponsors two conferences per year featuring presentations on a wide variety of floodplain management topics, plus numerous workshops, training classes and field trips.  Most of these are granted credits toward CFM renewal.

List Server

The AFMA list server is used to notify AFMA Members about upcoming events, educational opportunities and changes in policy and laws.

Membership Directory

A comprehensive list of all AFMA members. Find someone with a solution to a problem you're working on, or someone for a carpool to a nearby event.

AFMA members enjoy reduced prices when registering for AFMA-sponsored meetings, conferences, training and workshops.

Track Your CECs

Certified Floodplain Managers can track their Continuing Education Credits by storing the classes and associated CECs in the AFMA website database.  Enter the date of your last renewal, and the CEC tool will do the math for you to produce the numbers completed and necessary for renewal.
